Stormlight archive, I don’t even know where to begin. If you have not read it yet..WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Brandon Sanderson is an amazing writer. There were so many fun foods and drinks to choose from the books but I narrowed it down to these.
Orange wine - Fruity with notes of ginger
Chouta - “fried flatbread, rolled into a conical burrito, and filled with chunks of flangria* covered in gravy. *Flangria is a Soulcast meat mixed with ground lavis, then made into little balls, battered up and fried, stuffed into said fried flatbread, then covered with said gravy.”
Adolins spicy pork curry - “Pork from a creamy red curry of his own for her to sample” .
The fifth pancake - According to Lift there are 10 kinds of pancakes in Yeddaw
One type is known as a Sun Day pancake.
A second type, as described by Hauka, is known as a Tuk-cake, eaten for prosperity in the year to come.
A third is salty, with chopped-up vegetables.
A fourth tastes sweet.
A fifth is fluffy, almost without substance to it, though with a kind of sauce in which to dip it.
A sixth is dense, with mashed-up paste in the center that is sticky and salty.
A seventh is covered in little crunchy seeds.
An eighth has sugar in the center.
A ninth has a real thick, almost mealy texture.
The tenth is dedicated to Tashi. As described by Ghenna, it is more a thought than a real entity
Cleambread - Clemabread is common in Tashikk, and it is likely made in other parts of Roshar as well. The bread is granular and breaks apart easily, giving it a mushy texture when eaten. The rolls often have a spicy paste at the center and can be served warm.
